The heart of the house...

...is usually identified as the Kitchen. And like my sister I am going to use the weekend to catch up on Kelly's challenge. I did have time this morning to clean clean clean so it would be some what presentable for photographs and blogging. So here it is the kitchen of our house, I love the kitchen and even though the photographs aren't the greatest they will at least give you a TASTE! Enjoy.

we have fireplaces in every room...literally...except the bathroom of course.
And this dave matthews poster was not exactly my first choice but after listening to husband rant and rave about it and being the wonderful wife that I am I had it framed for him. Not being in the loop on where he had plans for hanging it was my down fall!

Ok so I don't know who Kelly is but my sister posted about her "show us where you live" Fridays. This week its dinning rooms, but since I don't really have a dinning room I have an eat in kitchen and it looks like a bomb hit it; I decided to post our living room today in stead! Sorry I hope that doesn't mess up the cycle of living spaces.

and this is my most favorite thing we own..its my grandmothers china cabinet that I took from my mothers when I moved out. We painted it red and it holds my other prized possession which is my new china Lenox Chirp!!

The perfect place to store it right??


Thanks for letting me share my home. If I can get the kitchen clean enough to photograph maybe I'll post it tomorrow sometime. And we will have a "show us where you live Saturday"!!
But if I don't get to it, I'll be back in week. I am headed to Va for the week to shoot for Taste of the South and I am not sure what that will hold as far as interent connection goes! Have a happy Memorial Day. And gets lots of sun!

Bridals

I loved how these Bridal Portraits turned out, and since the wedding was
this past weekend I can finally post them for you to enjoy.

Spring Cleaning

I was in the process of cleaning off my desktop today, one because my need for space was quickly becoming an issue and two because all the random folders on my desktop screen were driving me insane!!
But in the cleaning out I found these sweet images from a shoot I did for a girl at work. These were my favorites.

What have I been doing?

I have been playing wife, sleeping late on the weekends, cooking dinner, burning dinner, cleaning house, taking baby photos for a friend, getting ready to photograph a wedding next week, trying not to gain the newlywed 15, wishing I had some wedding cake left, spending the night at the ER with the husband, shooting a cover for the magazine, and this with Ella...
