This is the big one. The big 100th post that is. Wow. Thats seems so crazy to me. I have actually been thinking for days how to make this a memorable post, but after visiting with some new friends during their very fun photo shoot I decided I should make them all memorable! I'll be working on that. I have some major updating to do too.
Last week we took my car to fixed...remember the tree accident! Well that only took 9 days to fix! 9...thank goodness I have a good job with access to work vans...otherwise we wouldn't be paying rent this month! Rentals are ridiculously overpriced.
Two weeks ago I was moving our special little, one and only lonely fern out into the rain and a scorpion stung my hand. Have you ever been stung by a scorpion before, I would suggest you stay far away from them. My hand felt like it was going to explode from the inside out. And that of course was before it began to swell up to three times, ok maybe four times its normal size. I wish I had taken a photograph. But honestly blogging and posting a photo was the last thing on my mind. I ended up going to the hospital and getting a shot and antibiotics. Thankfully two days later the swelling was gone and the pain was substantially less.
We went to the beach last weekend to do senior portraits of two of my cousins. They wanted theirs to be totally different from the norm and any of their friends at school, which of course we can do. What a luxury to have a photographer in the family! These are my favs so far but I am still in deep process of finishing them up.

And then there is today! I had two photo sessions today and they were great. The first was a baby boy who has just grow and grow since the last time I saw him. We did his newborn photos months and months ago. This is photo is from that original first session with Patten and his precious mom!

My second session was a precious family who I had the opportunity of meeting for the very first time today. However they knew me more than I could have known. Blog fans. How exciting. A mom and three beautiful girls and myself talked about blogging, and photography, school, career success, and magazines. We were hot in sun and running from crazy wasps (which actually stung me on the same hand as the scorpion...I need to stay inside for awhile I think) but what a way to spend your Saturday. Thank you new friends for letting me take your photographs today. I can't wait to work on them very soon! I promise you will get your very own post!
After my exciting photo ops my sweet husband and I ran to Chelsea to combine our cell phones plans...wow big steps, the conversion from single to married is official now right!!! We ended up being there for three hours. Literally! This is not a fun process. But we got it done thank goodness, so with new phones in hand, and a higher new phone plan than I had anticipated we headed to eat lunch (at 3). Mexican was awesome after being at at&t all afternoon. After our super late lunch we ended up at none other than Walmart. Wow, big surprise. Buying grocery's is the vane of my existence. I hate it.
We should now be able to eat for two weeks, no problem.
