oh..Saturday

This has been a fabulous weekend so far. Last night the husband was playing cards with the guys and I was home enjoying an evening all to myself. And oh I loved it. I worked on editing photo sessions from last weekend, cleaned, and did the laundry. And went to sleep in the middle of the bed!

Today however was ten times better. We slept late, really late like until 9:45, which we never do. After we had orange rolls for breakfast I realized I had a message from my aunt Heather who lives in the little house between my sisters and mine, her friend Tammy was having a yard sale down at the school and she had lots she thought I might I like! Well I of course I threw on some clothes and Cory and I walked down to see what was left. I got three great frames that I am going to paint and search for a perfect place for them to go, but the best thing from today my sweet husband bought for me. $20 got me this...

..awesome 1960's sewing machine, that still works.

It also came with these sweet patterns.

Now if I can only get my mom to sit down and teach me how to use it! I'm pumped about it, and it goes pretty perfectly in my spare bedroom which is slowly becoming my studio/sewing room now!

Thanks Tammy!
