New Project

A week since my last post?? wow. Sorry, to you millions of people out there just craving my next words!! (clearly sarcasm)
This weekend was crazy, like all others I suppose. My mother and always talk about one day in the far off future when we will be able to just stay at home and rest on the weekends...but that just makes us laugh. Ha who gets to rest on the weekends. If you do...you're one of the luckiest people in the world, and my advice would be not to tell anyone because they might just try and make plans with you! and thats how it all starts.
Anyways enough with the chatter, Baker Farms Festival was this weekend and it went very well. I think my sister had lots of success as did I. I'll post some photographs soon for your viewing and commenting pleasure!!

But the real reason for this post is a project. One that I actually finished several weeks ago but just this weekend improved! Its a jewelry holder, or whatever else you might want to use it for...but for me its this. Its an old window frame that got from Tammy Lynn!! (Thanks by the way Tammy) and I just went to Lowe's a bought decorative metal grating and attached it to the back or the frame. and then added stainless steal S hooks and here you have it. Pretty modern meets garage sale don't you think??
Well I loved it. and Cory thought it was a great idea too...which means I get to have it in our house! It will hang in our bathroom I think.
Well happy posting and enjoy the close ups of my project.

K - it is gorgeous, what a great idea! You and Kristin never fail to amaze me with your creativity :)

I can't wait to see the pictures of Bella; even though she didn't smile (which she didn't for me in any pix at Boo at the Zoo last night either), I know they are going to be beautiful!! xoxo

Kamin... that is too cute! I have one that's an old window but it just has hooks screwed onto the front to hang stuff.. the grating is an awesome idea!!! p.s. love the pics you did for Amy and the whole Garrett family! :)

This is a great idea. I'll have to try something like this for my jewelry.

Thanks everyone!! Its pretty handy.

Nanna: the photographs of Bella are great. she isnt smiling in most of them but she has a sweet look on her face!!

Codie: thank you. Amy and her crew are so fun.

Sue: you should try it. before I got the grating I used chicken wire!! and it looked very rustic...that would totally go with your house and decor!!
